Northrup Carlson Family Stage in Minneapolis Mn

    Has anyone been to a music event at the Northrup Carlson Family Stage in Minneapolis Mn ? Looking for any and all reviews on seating, parking ect. thanks !!

    The Northrop is in the center of the Mpls U of M Campus. It is near Washington Ave (light rail Green line). Lots of small student restaurants in the area. I’ve only attended for Nutcracker ballet performances. Definitely a grand auditorium I would advise parking along the rail line somewhere and taking it in, but plenty of ramps are near by. Just look for UoM maps online.

    The closest parking is the Church St. Garage, it’s attached to Northrop. Next closest is the Fourth St. Parking Ramp. The closest cheap ($4) surface parking is Lot 37, just north of the Baseline Tennis Center. It’s about a 6-7min walk to Northrop from there, about as close as the light rail station.

    I saw My Morning Jacket right after it reopened and was generally impressed with the sound quality.
