Hey all – I have a Lowrance HDS9 hooked up to my MotorGuide electric motor. This has been has been an awesome combination for many years. I noticed at the end of last fishing season and now again this spring that the water temp is not showing on my graph. I have checked on my connections and they look fine. Any suggestions on what it might be?
I dont believe the transducer in the xi5 is capable of reading temp. It doesnt work on mine either, never has and I have had it for many years with different lowrance units hooked to it. I cannot remember if you can change the source for a specific feature or not, but if you have networked units that might be possible to do. I know I have switched which transducer was the source many times because I was getting interference on the display when I would use the trolling motor so I switched the source to the transom mounted ducer.
