Apparently the word has gotten out these things are cats meow for winter BC I’ve called and checked sizes almost everywhere in metro area to no avail, as well as eBay and the like online.

Maybe someone knows someone who knows someone possibly looking to sell. Will pay premium due to supply/demand.

    Thanks for any leads.

Fleet or Army surplus stores usually keep pretty good stock of bunnies.

    Even Mill’s?

I have a pair of 13s that I would get rid of, but that’s probably too big for you.

Read something online from Alaska last year stating that Bunny Boots were getting difficult to find because they are not in current production. Up there this is a major disaster because there are basically only 2 types of boots worn in all of Alaska, Xtratufs and Bunny Boots.

Best I can think of would be to find them online and pay a primo for fast shipping.

Did you try Harris canvas in se Minneapolis 612 331 1321. They did sell them in the past. You could also try calling some thrift stores in smaller towns like Princeton, Mora, Onamia and alike. As far as their phone numbers, you are on your own

I saw some on C-List recently, but don’t remember the size. I have some 12R, and normally wear a size 12 boot, but the bunnies run big so I’m sure I could get by with a 11, maybe even a 10.

Ralph those are a tad big. From what I hear as stated by blank they run big, my Irish setters are 12 and 13 muck boots, so the bunny I’d assume would need to be at least 12s if not 11.

Fleet farm had them when in surplus, but as grouse eluded to that’s not the case it seems anymore. Any stores that have them still or did last year is just remains.

Looking for the black ones specifically, and even online shops, eBay, etc shows nothing. Yikes.

Puddle that number is out of service. Thanks for the thrift tip though, will start digging.

Rochester has an army surplus store that you could try. I will also be going to Mill’s in rochester tonight and will check. I do think that the last pair that I bought was online through the sportsmans guide.

Ralph those are a tad big.

Lemme know if your feet grow. )

I normally wear a 14, and the 13s I have fit me well.

Nick, I got mine here last year. I would be surprised if Sportsman or Harris would have any. At least they didn’t last year when I tried.

There is also the guy that sells them at the Ice show but I can’t remember his name. Someone out there might have his card.

Nick, I just looked at mine they are a size 12N (narrow ?) I wear a size 10.5 and my foot is a bit wide.
These boots fit perfectly, warm, I don’t consider them heavy, and very comfortable. I only wear regular socks and my feet have never been cold.
The only down size is, if your sock fall down the top of the boot rubs your calf and can make it chafe.
Useless trivia, I don’t believe they have been made since the 50’s.

    Why black bunny boots?

Are the white ones not as good? Just wondering if one color is better than the other. Thanks.

Black = Mickey Mouse = down to -20
    White = Bunny = below -20

Eelpout, their website shows no bunny boots but didn’t see they had locations nearby until now, will call them tomorrow. Your response on the Baffin vs Arctic’s was a deciding factor for myself. Still quite mobile, but tend to sit more in the shelter and feet have been getting chilly. Wear work boots all day everyday, and the smart wool should help with sweat issues, plus the wife says my butts shrinking so maybe their added weight can help me out there too doah

Gonecribbin, you down by Wabasha area? Have another lead about as far away that’s sort of on route to a day trip later this week, will let ya know if doesn’t work out. Unless you plan on getting to the cities?

Thanks again for all replies, really helped. bow

As expensive as Mickey Mouse and Bunny Boots have gotten, you’d be better off getting NEW premium quality boots instead of 40 or 50 year old military surplus boots that weigh a ton and have poor traction.
