Thanks guys,Im fine, just some burnt hair , they had a recall a year or two ago,my serial number doesnt match the ones in the recall, the recall info is on the Mr.heater website, i just want my heater fixed,if i didn’t like so much i would just buy a mr.heater cooker, but i like the fact that the big buddy heater wont melt a hole in my shack, well before it blew fire

That’s one of the reason I like my Mr. Buddy heater along with the o2 sensor and the tip over sensor.

That happened to one of my big buddy heaters. I called customer service and they sent me out a new unit and shipping for the return of the old unit so they could check it out. This happened before they even had a recall on them.

No Fireballs are not good, that it will not easily melt a hole in my shack is the reason.

I’ve had a gas leak from the connection at one time and kaboom, fireball. My fault for not double checking the connection as it’s been working well for so long. I smelled the gas just before it fireball. Now, I’m back to double checking the connections.

I had the same thing where the hose from the lp tank wasn’t tight on the fuel filter. Glad it wasn’t in the shack at the time.
