Got them rigged today after work. Started early and left early. Did it in about a hour and a half. Linked both graphs but not trolling motor. Waiting for the 5 port to come in the mail. I’m pretty excited to fish now. Just need to get a high speed ducer and it should be a sweet set up.

Well we made it out crappie fishing in chisago area this morning. These things are awesome and the bite was great. Found most our crappies and sunnies shallower then 5 ft. The crappies were pure black. Found lots of groups of fish i marked for tomorrow morning and hoping they will be bass and walleye. We are ready to begin the fishing season.

Solix units are awesome. Optimax on another hand, we’ll she has a few quirks to work out. I noticed my pee stream was high pressured then under throttle I’d have none, then I noticed water under my cowel. Tore it down today and found a bad powerhead gasket, there was no gasket left by the exhaust and water jacket. Parts will be here Monday or Tuesday and she will be ready Wednesday. Shop quoted me 2700 to start, so I figured it was a good day to dig in and save some money.
