Helix 7 contour line issue.

    I got a Helix 7 g3si\gps from Iowa boy.I bought a LM vx card for and installed it.I have no contour lines.
    Is there a setting we can’t find? Wrong card?
    Thanks for any help you gents can offer up.

    Check google but I don’t think the VX card works on the G3 only G4 and up . Googled it for ya – should work but requires updates to the graph . Have you done the updates ?

    Make sure the graph is set to auto and is reading the correct card and not the base map.

    No updates.The graph is on auto and says it recognizes sd card.
    I don’t think it would work with my other cards from my g2 units, would it?

    You didnt by chance get a “no lines” card did you? One that is meant for autochart where you make your own maps?

    CM thats a good question.I don’t think so it was the only one besides the premium version on ther site.

    There is a setting that says contour lines. Make sure that is set to yes. Or check that box.

    BC I HAVE THAT ON MY 2 5’S BUT I CAN’T FIND IT ON THIS ONE.
