Bead size on Open water spinners??

    Hey guys,

    I am doing a lot more open water trolling with spinners this summer. I have a lot of different blade and bead sizes but I was wondering what size beads are common for the blade sizes of # 4’s,5’s, and 6’s. Just wondering what mm bead is common. I really like the 5mm because you get to put a good string of beads but just looking for some info,

    One of the most popular bead sizes on Erie, Green Bay and Winnebago is 6mm. It seems to give a little bigger profile for the bigger blades.

    I personally use stack beads, and will use two stack beads one facing each way.
