To fish the upper part above the dam in St. Croix Falls take Hwy 35 North out of town. About 1 1/2 miles out Lions park will be on the left side, great boat launch there.

The advantage to fishing there is it’s Federally protected, no jet ski’s or skiers allowed!

Enjoy the river, it’s a great place to fish.

South of the dam landings are at each state park just below HWY 8. There is also a landing at franconia and Osceola. Osceola may be really shallow now. Do not get your tires off the cement ramp into the sand. Franconia should be good. It is shallow but the compacted gravel makes it good for launching. You may need to get the tires wet there but I have never had any trouble getting back out.

What do you want to fish for. There is everything up there.
