Boat fuse/terminal block, how hard to replace?

The reason I am wondering about is I am planning on re-wiring or replacing my fuse/terminal block and the gang switch panel/rocker panel…on the original one the ends are soldered onto the connections, can those wires just be cut and new ends (non-solderless) be added or will I have to run all new wiring throughout? I just have to have get some experiance at soldering first…unless I could use the solderless connections.
Thanks for any help or suggestions you can offer

Either way will work personally I like to solder them, especially with the wet and damp enviroment. If you have to add length to a wire ( put two wires together to make one longer ) solder and heat shrink tubing. Do not use the crimp style connector. These are notoriuos for having issues with dampness, vibration and loosing connection.

After you have your fuse block back in I would take some liguid electrical tape and cover all connections as a preventative messure.

    Good Luck

Thanks for the tips guys, I was thinking I would have to solder for a more durable longer lasting hold, now I just have to learn to solder….
