I’m looking at replacing my old Lowrance X-65 with the Lowrance X102C and was wondering if anyone has any experience with that unit? I don’t want to spend more than around 500 if possible. Don’t need GPS, have a seperate unit, but would like to go color. Anyone have any comments on that unit, or recommendations on a similarily priced one?

    Thanks.

I have the 332C, which is the same thing with GPS. The difference between 480 B&W pixels and 480 color pixels is amazing. I love it.

I have two in my boat and I am very satisfied. Very good definition and easy to read. I have a shoot-thru transducer in a fiberglass boat and pick up a small jig in 35 ft of water and get good readings at higher speeds.

My brother in law has it and it’s a sweet graph. The only gripe I would have about it or the the 332c is the small screen size. Fine when it’s just normal, but split screen makes each side a little small.

The X102C is an excellent unit. It’s received high praise from many, many quality anglers over the past six months. I run the 332C which has the same sonar as the X102C and I find it to be a great unit. As you may know, we sell many different units at Jolly Ann Marine, and I don’t hesitate to recommend the X102C to the gang at In-depthangling. I think you’ll love it. Feel free to contact me directly if you have questions about the unit or special pricing.

I have one on the bow of my boat and love it! The built in flash graph is a nice feature if you would rather look at a flasher screen.

Thanks for the input guys. For those that use the color flasher option, do you think it works as well as a vexilar?

If I had $390 bucks burning a hole in my pocket, I’d pick up one of these re-furbed Raymarine DS500 units. Absolutley top of the line color unit.

I have the 102c at the bow and the 332c in back, I love them both. The color makes a huge difference. I don’t think youll be sorry for buying one. Ron
