    TBO/MN,

Not sure on the St. Paul Park Ramp, but as Jon mentioned the 494 ramp is in excellent shape. I was there last night and both ramps are fully useable for big boats……speaking of big boats, mine comes out tomorrow!

Well Steve, how did you do?? All plastics, live bait??? Wingdams, shoreline, deep water?? I would appreciate a heads up for this Sat. Trip. How was the ice, any chunks floating around? Did you go up to the Minn. River area?, or the dam?

    TBO,

A couple fellow IDA members hopped in with me yesterday afternoon and we explored the wingdams up near the airport. We ended up with around 10 fish and lost 2. We were pitching plastics the entire evening. Biggest fish was 23-24″. The pitching bite was just Ok yesterday. I presume this bite will pick up in a couple weeks for sure. This past week the vertical jigging bite by the airport has been pretty consistent. 15-30 fish is what I have heard for range of numbers.

With the nice weather coming this weekend, I will be on the water most of the weekend exploring.

    Good luck to you!

Thanks Steve. If you see me, stop and say Hey…I’ll do the same.
