Planning a little camping trip and would like to camp on an island on Rainy lake. Looking for input on items to bring with. My thinking is alot of you have probly camped along the river at some time. I’m looking for a little creative input.
    thank you

Beer, Bait, Beer, Tent, Beer, Sleeping bag, Beer….
    Seriously though……
Extra tarp to cover stuff if it rains.
    Tarp for under your tent
Rope, tubs with snap on lids to keep critters out.
    waterproof container for matches
    drinking water
    air mattress/cot
    hatchet/axe
    pillow
I usually take a rug for outside the tent to wipe feet off or just take shoes off so you don’t drag too much sand/dirt into the tent.

If you are going for a long period of time a screen tent is really nice to have as well for cooking in.
