Deep at the end of the GTG Pics topics we found a new member. My son, Erik, joined as a member to give me some crap as Putzkid, code name Son of the Putz (Son of Sam?) Anyway between work and racing motorcycles (not golfing, Brian) his fishing skills need to be fine tuned a little. Maybe some time on this forum will help.

    not golfing,

He’s my kinda guy! Welcome aboard Eric!

It’s amazing what a person can learn here, and a ton of it is about fishing too.

Now that we got the golfing question out of the way…you aren’t a bass fisherman are you? I think Putz is a good Dad and instilled in you that bass makes good fertalizer…and bait…Are you into eye’s, Muskies or CATFISH perhaps?

Nah…… he just came out of his Frabil! I think he heard there was another new girl registered and wanted to find out who looked better in pink!

Eric! “Son of Putz”……….. I like it! But anyone….. ANYONE cool enough to race cycles should be forewarned to wisely choose his company around here. You wouldn’t want to have your competition holding a picture of Briank’s avatar on there pit boards to distract you!

It’s all in good fun! Welcome to the wonderful world of IDA!

Come on guys. it’s good to have you greet him but his name is Erik with a “K”. I named him after Erik the Red who discovered this country well before that Spanish wimp. That guy brought lutefisk with him.

My apologies for not paying attention to detail Putz. My bad! Sorry Erik!

It’s hard to focus when Briank’s out there doing his runway routine!

Hey guys! Thanks a lot for the welcome. I look forward to meeting ya and catching some fish. I am not sure that my racing bikes is half as dangerous as oldfartputz going out on the lake with 3/8 inches of ice…..All I know is my mother won’t take part in either.

This is my race team if you are interested. We are basically racing to help out a young little guy who has a tough road ahead of him in life.

Thanks again, and I look forward to meeting you guys and gals soon!

    Erik! You fit right in!

Looks like a very good cause. When doing something you like, you might as well help someone out.

One thing about your photo…I haven’t been around bikes for many a year…so I was just wondering when they started using knees for kickstands?

Welcome Putzkid! It would appear The K in EriK is not like the K in NKRISTA, judging from the number of welcome posts!

Thanks, Herb. Think I’m going to need it now.

Personally, I would rather walk on an inch or 2 of ice than drag my knee on the ground at 80 mph but each to his own. I know us two boys keep Mama on her toes both winter and summer.

And I would rather do either of the above than have to eat lutefisk!

    lutefisk yuk.
I have tried it way back when I was quite small. Never have forgotten the taste it left in my mouth. Also remember what my mom said about the way they cured it in the old country. Don’t think I should even repeat what she said.
I missed the onions Putz. And that is a favorite of mine Next year maybe

    Thanks a lot guys!

Hi, NKrista88. I see why your welcome thread is 4 pages and mine is 1 1/2.

Yes, he does eat that stuff. I can’t even stand the smell of it cooking.

Hey oldfartputz, have a Corona for me in Puerto Vallarta. None of that Dos Equis swill!

54 degrees today? Anybody hit a lake?

Thanks for the offer Brian! This weekend is the Minneapolis Motorcycle Show and I will be working a vendor booth.

I would love to get out and do some fishing with ya soon. We can badmouth my old man all day long.

I think it may take more than a day…or a pint!

Fishing was good, bad, good and great!
I’m surprised the other guys didn’t make a post…maybe I’m going to check the Chisago forum and if nothings posted I’ll put one up.
