Last minute weekend resort recommendations?

Our annual guys weekend of ice-fishing has just run aground because our normal base of operations, in the Crosslake MN area, has just become unavailable. Can anyone make a recommendation as to a reasonable place for 4 guys to stay and spend a weekend chasing pike and eyes? We’re hoping to stay in the Brainerd/Nisswa area, but would consider Mille Lacs or Alexandria as well. Mostly just looking for a place to kick back and renew long-standing friendships. Thanks guys!

If you are looking for a hotel and not a resort I would recommend Days Inn of Nisswa. I stayed up there for a couple days in December walleye fishing. I stayed during the week and it was about 35 dollars a room/night. For weekends I think it is a bit more. It pretty good for the price and also includes a pool and jacuzzi for when you want to warm up after a long day of ice fishing. JD

Boyd Lodge is very nice. I’ve stayed at a few of the others as well. Mostly it comes down to what you want to spend.
