Who makes “Spidercast”

    I have this casting reel I bought a few years ago just says “Spidercast”. But I’ve searched all over the reel high and low to see if I could figure out where it was from. I was told that “Spidercast” was made by Mitchell. Can anyone confirm if that is true? Because this reel is acting up and I need to send it in to get fixed.

    Go to http://www.purefishing.com. That should help you.

    Spidercast was made by Mitchell, then company that owns Berkley, Fenwick, etc…bought them.

    For repairs go to Trails End in Fridley #763-784-9080,Dick Danz does the repairs in store and for most metro area shops.
