I think I’m going to miss this game…I still have a few acorns in my driveway that need sweeping up…
January 16, 2005 at 3:26 pm #336912Go Vikes is right
I sure hope today goes better than yesterday both of the teams I had lost heck the Jets practically gave me a heart attack. I tell ya what this football stuff gets me just as excited as tourney fishing.

Go VikesJanuary 16, 2005 at 4:14 pm #336922I am a cheese head but must say I believe the Vikings have a chance. It feels like HADES is freezing over in Sparta.

Posts: 2294January 16, 2005 at 4:26 pm #336926The Bloody Mary’s are already to be poured, the venison chili is hot(both by spice and temp), and the chips, dip, and crackers are all set out. Just enough time to clean up and put on my colors before the pre-game show on Fox. I gotta hear what those guys have to say about the “Moon Landing in Lambeau”!!
Just a quick thought. Philly’s starting offense hasn’t really played in 4 weeks, and the 2 weeks prior to the lay off, even with T.O. they looked a bit in disarry. If our defense plays anywhere near as good a game as they did against the Packers, we will win BIG!!

Nate,You DO KNOW Lenny lives in Bay City, “WISCONSIN” right???January 16, 2005 at 7:09 pm #336936Bobber…I picked up the same mop a Fleet Farm yesterday…on sale 99 cents…almost giving them away.
January 16, 2005 at 9:12 pm #336949I was but, alas, the Vikings were not Ready to Rumble!
Talk about a lackluster game! No O, No D and No Luck, only pleny of penalties!
January 16, 2005 at 9:25 pm #336954Can someone please tell me who the heck Joe Buck is ans where did he come from ? He really doesn’t have a clue…
January 16, 2005 at 9:30 pm #336957I can feel the Vicking fans pain. I went through it a week ago. The only cure is time on the ice.
January 16, 2005 at 9:34 pm #336959I know I would trade him pay checks any day of the week. Even when he is in his off season!!!

January 16, 2005 at 10:24 pm #336967WOW, you must still be venting from last week. I know it was a tough loss.
If time on the ice is not helping maybe you need ice in a drink.
January 16, 2005 at 11:07 pm #336973Personally, I don’t pay any attention to him! I guess you could accuse me of “Passing the Buck”!
GeronimoJanuary 17, 2005 at 1:49 am #336985Joe ‘I’m a dork’ Buck is still in the learning stages of color commentary. After last weeks games I refuse to watch or listen to anything that has his signature.
January 17, 2005 at 3:09 am #337011Dave, he started out as the St. Louis Cardinals announcer, which he still does by the way. You might remember him from the MLB playoffs, and of course the Budweiser commercials. I kind of like him…….better than Madden anyday lol
January 17, 2005 at 3:30 am #337013So Gianni? What happened to the best wide reciever in the NFL of all time today?
I spose the 100 hundred dollar bills were making his shorts too tight?

I may live in Wisconsin but it is doubtful I will ever be accused of being a Wisconsin person and I will never be mistaken for a cheesehead.
January 17, 2005 at 11:26 am #337032Well Brian, he made three catches for 50+ yards, with an undefended touchdown opportunity, if only Tice could count. The offense played tough. Poor D and a few bad breaks (Fumble.. YESSSSSS!!!, Touchdown.. NOOOOOOOO!) and they’re out. Welcome to the playoffs. The packers found this out last week, just don’t expect me to whine about it incessantly, run down the Eagles, and make excuses (then have the nerve to complain about someone else’s bad sportsmanship).
Bottom line: It was a great year for the vikes, but Philly is a great team, and they won.
Vikes gave us an awesome ride this year. If they can pick up a little defense and a little depth, next year could be even better. See ya in a couple weeks at the GTG Brian. I’ll be the one that looks like this:

I know….
Do you think if we just paid Moss more we would be going to the bowl? I mean his ego isn’t big enough now…If we could just make him a little more cockier…the Eagles would have caught the fumble…and handed the ball back to Moss…out of resptect….
Or better yet, he should take up golf…that way the camera would be on him all the time.
I’ll be the guy at the GTG that looks like…
