I was wondering of any names that someone could recommend for folks in the Twin Cities who have built up a good reputation by building good quality custom rods from a blank? A friend of mine had this one gentleman from White Bear Lake, MN who would built you a rod from a St. Croix blank with the price ranging from $50-$75. However I lost contact with my friend when he moved out of state and forget to get the name. Any names would be appreciated.

price depends on what blank you get. i use st.criox blanks with different guides and handles. get the model number from a rod at the store and i can cross reference it and get the same blank and build it for you. PM me and we can get in touch with each other and set something up. i live on mille lacs but i get to the cities so hooking up isn’t a problem……tom f
Hooked On Fishing in Rochester does ship custom rods that they make so it saves you the drive. They are very good quality and sensitive rods made with St. Croix blanks.
