I just made it home from Ixtapa Mexico. Where we went on a 7 hour fishing trip, well we did alot of other things but fishing was the only important thing!

It was great, leaveing in the morning was just like a tournament there were a hundred of these same fishing boats picking people up. And the price was great!!! $220.00 for up to 10 people Crazy huh… 1 person $220 10 people $220 we were in a group of 4.

2 of the fish came in pretty easy but one took over an hour. All of the sail fish are from 8 to 9 feet long, and we were the only boat to come back with 3 fish!

Im going to look into the price and try and find wall space that the woman will agree with!!

The color of these fish were amazing! Right when they came out of the water the fins and the lines in the body were like a glow purple after a few minutes out of the water they were dark!

    Hope you injoy I DID!!

Very cool. 2 weeks before I will be heading out of the same harbor there. Who was you captian/boat. That almost looks like Ruebin of the Vomanous fleet. Did you see any other fish being caught? We are hoping for 4 trips during our week down there. You are dead right about the prices. We pay $250 for a 38′ boat for the day. The smaller pangas run about $150. Even better yet you can find round trip air for $200 also.
We are hoping to spend most of our trips on board the Don Gordo with El captian Pauly. Hope he is available.

Very nice fish. I had the chance to eat swordfish once, at this litle restraunt in Jim Falls. Sorta related fish.

Yeah it also beats my first fish of 05, a 14” Walleye.

We did what everyone told us not to and found a guy on the beach. We were in one of those smaller boats called the BLACK TUNA, the captain’s name was nicholis.

When we left there were fisherman from all over coming in for a big sailfish tournament. So the guides will know where and what the fish want!! Hope you have as much fun as I did!!!

14 days and counting before I will drinking Modelos and watching the sun come up over the mountians from the boat.

This is not the boat we take. This is the one the pelicans ride in. Some of the boats down there you might want to make sure your life insurance is paid up. Also its a good idea that you pinpoint something in the boat that floats in case you need it in the future. Not alot of life jacket in most boats.
