Deer, Red Cedar or Big Chetak Landings Open?

    Hey IDA friends, does anyone know if I could still put my boat in any of these lakes, I would like to fish on Thanksgiving weekend. I am expecting just enough ice to probably not be able to get in. A good update would be awsome, if the lake landings are froze it would save me fron brining my boat up and probably having to drive home in a snow storm. Thank you #5

    I was fishing in that area last weekend before the snow and the water temp was 49 degrees, pretty darn warm yet so keep your hopes up, call the baitshop in Birchwood or call Bearpaw and they should be able to let you know. Goodluck!

    Just got off Altoona, water temps were 35, very windy and didnt get a bite, the only ice I saw was a bay up in the north east corner of the lake…..
