Chetek Chain

    Anyone been up on the Chetek chain lately? I am heading up next weekend (Friends Cabin) , and am debating weather or not to bring the boat.

    I have a place in a camp ground on the chain. Fishing has been slow with all the cool weather. I was there last weekend and then the week of Aug. 9th. Fishing has been slow but with the stable weather in the forcast, it should pick up. Had a big Northern on in Ojaski but didn’t have a steel leader. A good friend writes the fishing report on chetek.com. Let me know if you need any other info.

    I have wanted to get down to Ten Mile all year but since, I am on the north end of the chain, just havn’t taken the time to get down there. I know Moose Ear would be a great place to try for Northern and am going to try and get there over Labor Day weekend. Do you get to Chetek often? Good luck fishing.

    I wish I did get up there more. Usually once or twice a year. Will be up This weekend, Hope to get the fishing picks up.
