    Spectrum versus Disney?

For those Spectrum Cable customers, who misses the Disney/ESPN/Nat Goe channels? I thought I would more than I am, to be honest. The way cable/dish tv contracts are set up is outdated in my opinion. Why would anyone be OK with paying for 20 channels owned by the same parent company when they only watch 2 channels? the market has shifted to streaming and you have the option to pay for what you want rather than all of it like the current cable platform.

I don’t know if I’m better off or not. I dropped Midco cable and went to Paramount+, NetFlix, hulu, and live TV. I also have Samsung TV Plus and You Tube with my TV. Plenty of stuff to watch. Problem with streaming is I end up binging shows and never getting out of my chair. doah

Does it cost less than cable TV when you add the cost of Internet and the monthly cost of each?

Not sure. Right now i’m signed up for more than I will end up with once I sort through them. I’m starting to realize there are a bunch of channels I can live without as long as I have Netflix to watch.

Fair enough, I know for my local sports I would rather listen on the radio. I have found I miss the show Life Below Zero on Nat Geo since the new season started . Im sure i could find and pay for it somewhere but its not that big a deal.

What’s your favorite MN reference in any form of entertainment?

One of Vince Flynns books referenced Soucheray walking his dog rookie, thought that was pretty funny.

No point in arguing about, we all have to pay what we all have to pay when we need to fill the tank. We can just agree to disagree and be pissed… either wayh way all pay

I think at some point here people who stream tv will be paying the same a those who still use cable/satellite. It’s probably pretty close already if not the same now.

I’ve never been a fan of streaming live sports. Especially the faster paced ones like football and ice hockey. It’s choppy and blurry and buffers too much, even with a fast connection speed. Thursday night football on amazon prime is a good example of this.

I think streaming is better for watching a show or series when you want to though.

What happened to the chick in the pictures on the bottom of the page? Although it was a bot, it did bring our aggregate attractiveness up slightly.

I want to know how “her” pictures even ended up being posted on the front page in the first place. Super curious.

If you click on “Gallery” at the top of the page, then select “Upload a Photo” the pic will land in the front page picture gallery.
