As a whole I find the NFL draft very, very boring. I watched the Vikings make their pick last night but I can’t imagine having to watch any more of that. This is a terrible draft as far as star power goes. Once Hunter got taken it just became a bunch of names.

A hole bunch of chains crossed the stage last night.

I watched some of it. I agree it’s mostly boring and I couldn’t imagine spending money or vacation time to attend it. I appreciated every time a guy was chosen and he was at home with family and they weren’t covered head to toe in chains and high end sparkly garb. That Packers pick, Matthew Golden was something.
I feel guilty, but seeing Shaduer with the biggest gold chain and whatever the heck that giant gold tablet hanging from it was…. And most at the party dressed the same. I’m sorry but I’m laughing that he still isn’t picked yet. Soon I’m sure. jester

I flipped over to it and saw the Boise State running back get picked. Two crotch grabs before he got to Goodell. That was enough. Maybe he has and itch? rotflol

I will say however that Ashton jeanty is an absolute monster. Watch his highlights if you haven’t. Heard he went to the Las Vegas raiders last night.

I can’t get into the NFL draft either. I know it has its dedicated followers and base. I enjoy NFL football during the season but the draft just doesn’t do it for me. I think it’s over very over hyped.

The NFL is a marketing machine. To get 200k people to stand outside and watch the draft is unbelievable.

I could see that happening in LA or Miami but to make it happen in Green Bay in April shows how diehard NFL fans are.

Can’t imagine spending thousands of $$$$$ to go to that circus. I like reading about the players AFTER the draft.
Sanders dropping to the Browns in the 5th round made my day. What an idiot. Thousands of $$$$$ hanging around his neck while he is filing for bankruptcy. ???

Sheduer has made millions already so we don’t need to feel to sorry for him. At some point he will need to make a living that isn’t based on his last name but for now he’s ok.

Agree w all. The culture is disappointing as it’s a reflection on our (not all of ours however)societies values. Makes me laugh and curse at the same time. They look like moronic 12 year olds to me but hey, to each their own. We’ll see them try to prove “what they got”

Not defending him at all here. But it’s his brother Shiloh that is, or did declare bankruptcy.
    Agree with everything else.

^Yes. Shadeur’s name, signature, etc. is worth a ton of money right now. The real story will be whether or not he invests that stuff and makes a long term plan…as this weekend showed how quick and easy it is for NFL owners & executives to look past a “potential” player with a distracting following.

His brother Shiloh is broke. He’s filed for bankruptcy and owes millions to a guy that he beat up in high school if my memory is correct. The ESPN world slid that story aside as the Colorado “Prime” brand was firing on all cylinders. I’d be shocked if Shiloh doesn’t stay broke indefinitely as his game doesn’t translate to the NFL…but his habits spending money won’t change.

^^Shiloh was signed by Tampa Bay as an UDFA. We’ll see if he makes it through camp to get a check or not.

My bad. Read about it quite awhile back and didn’t remember correctly.

I doubt any Sanders are broke from that family.

If Sheduer is that good, he can prove himself and get paid after his rookie deal.
