I would like to find out how hard these are to build. Basically, I would like to have one to use for trapping through the ice. I would be able to use the mud motor until freeze up, then walk until the ice is thick enough for the chipper motor. Any ideas on how to make them? Thanks.

one that i saw used an old saw mill blade with welded teeth where the blade is and ran a 5 hp briggs with a chain running to a small gear box that was connected to the saw blade on an axle. you could use a centrifical clutch to run the main drive, just like on some on of those mini bikes. don’t throw the brown plastic bag away, it has your decoys in it!

Hey fish4blue Thanks for the decoys The girls said you were going to bring them over.
That is the type of motor I was thinking of. I guess they could be called a scratcher motor. I have the motor, but it needs to be rebuilt. Now I just need to figure out the rest of it
