Looking at getting a pair of the Alfa ice kings I have a pair of the older version of ice kings but looking at these because of the less weight and bulkness of them. Wondering about sizing should a person order a size bigger or if they run true to size. Any info or review would be great.

I picked up a pair last year. my shoe size is 10.5 to 11.0 depending on the shoe. I went with the size 12 in the ice kings because I wear heavier socks. They fit great.I don’t like lacing them up and unlacing them to get them off but other than that they are warm and not real heavey. This year I decided to try Muck Ice Pro, they are very light and slip right on and off but my socks stay in place.Feel just like I’m wearing tennis shoes. They are rated for -65,we will see.

I actually went the opposite. Went a size smaller.

Was it the Ice Pro or Arctic Pro? I can’t find an Ice Pro.

Need to get myself a new pair to. The old ones have finely worn out after about 15 years or more. Who carries these so I can go try a pair on? Gander? Fleet Farm?

I’m also considering the purchase of Alpha Ice Kings. Since taking up ice fishing a couple years ago, my feet get cold in the Sorels before I’m ready to quit fishing. I emailed workboothaven and Wendy said if I’m wearing a sock liner and heavy sock, it would be good to go one size larger than my normal shoe size.
Sure would be nice if a store in western Wisconsin had them in stock to try on…

I also considered Cabelas Infernos and Predator Extreme. Last year on the ice I chatted with a guy that wasn’t happy with his Infernos (not waterproof and not enough insulation in the toe). The Predators are quite big and cumbersome but they get great reviews for warmth.
