This is a huge area!! Get some maps and put a little planning in it and you could get a monster. There are many roads and pulloffs along the wma that would fit an RV. Guys get there usually on Friday so the earlier the better for getting ur spot. I would make the drive up sometime in the summer and scout a couple of spots near the area you want to hunt and get there a little early. You may be able to also get some info by looking at Google earth. good luck and pm me with any ?’s

thanks for the reply,I am planning on some serious scouting which will give me a couple more trips to the pond also.I am used to the whitewater wma and no overnite camping is allowed anywhere unless one has private land connections.after losing everything at my campground last august I need to find another area to call home for fishing and hunting and plan on keeping the rv mobile. Is mille lacs wma open to overnight camping in parking areas? I was assuming I would have to find an rv park/campground or something of the sort.

There are alot of places to camp and I see small RV’s around every year so you can. You may want to check with the local DNR headquarters o find out the specifics. They have an office right on the wma. Heading north on 169 take right on co.20 go to first intersection and take left. Follow that to the headquarters it will be on the right. You may be able to reach someone by phone but only if your lucky. If you go straight throiugh that intersection you will come to a road on the right about a mile down that cuts into the wma and has multiple pulloffs that would be adequate for an rv.
