    Hi there!

Thought an update was in order from the west…. I just pulled off after fishing a week on the Coumbia in the Rufus/ Biggs area. Had a great week with the standard walleye frustrations… they are there one day and gone the next!

Both of my daughters came up and fished with me. That is always a special time AND they both kiccked dad’s butt in the boat. My youngest caught her limit of 5 over 18″ in about 2 and 1/2 hours! She also released the fish in the pic.

We had a great time caught a bunch of fish in the 18-24″ range, made homemade ice cream, brownies, and homemade cornbread. Also visited the Goldendale, WA observatory.. 24.5″ telescope… cool…

No big fish this year. only a 28″ 7.5 lber….

Out in Oregon land where the walleyes grow and the Native Americans are netting the big ones to sell……..

thanks Dan, good day on the water. am waiting for those big fish to show up for you so we can all drool over them again. it is always great to get the kids out for a day, of course it is always helpful to put them on fish, not that that is all important, but it sure helps. I have a brother who lives in white salmon, how far up or down river are you talking about for some of the good walleye areas???? he does not rod and reel fish in the states, he is a commercial fisherman up in alaska for two months a year. keep those walleye posts and pics coming. Jack..
