Can I use my G3 connected to the transducer that came with my G2?

    Will not have time to change out the ducer-did’nt even think it would come with a ducer. Will I eventually want to change?

    A friend has a G3 and was having trouble with it, we plugged it in to my G2 transducer to try to troubleshoot it and it didn’t work. I don’t know the why. But when my friend called Humminbird customer service they confirmed the G2 transducer wouldn’t work with the G3 head unit.

    Oh thanks though, bigger drat would be going out there and finding out.
    So the ducer is better too it sounds like (silver lining?)
