Who cares, eat in moderation and enjoy.
Could die driving to the lake or to get the covid shot…
Even those that eat healthy are slowly dying like the rest of us who are not

Moderation-I love any kind of sausage, brats, italian, beef sticks, live just a few miles from Kramarchecks they have amazing sausage (try the ‘Cherry Bomb) just not healthy to eat that stuff on a regular basis. When I do, I enjoy with zero guilt.

We talking store bought or homemade? Store bought will have a bunch if preservatives and salt in them. Overall I’d say not great for you but better than those diet dews and those hostess fruit pies you like waytogo

Both are high in sodium – Sticks will have a higher fat content. Jerky isn’t bad for you otherwise – pure protein, just not for those watching salt intake. Make your own and it’s even better for you!

What everyone else has said…the sodium is the deal breaker. If you’ve got high BP it’s probably not the ideal snack.

If you’re avoiding processed versions and making your own with less salt, jerky can be shockingly healthy (in comparison to just about anything else).
