Hey guys. This may be a stupid post, but in general how far below the surface are wing dams. I’ve never had to deal with them, I know it is usually an effective spot, but I didn’t know how to navigate through or around them. thanks 
There’s really no set depth. Some are 6ft below the surface and some are within a foot of the surface. Right now on pool 8, there are some dams out of the water it’s that low.
If you are unsure, just proceed with caution.
Always travel up and down the river in the middle between the red and green markers [cans].
