Auger Blade Sharpening

    I haven’t been to the Ice Fishing show for a few years. Wondering if anyone knows if there will be a booth at the St. Paul Ice Fishing Show this weekend that will sharpen Auger blades?

    I have been to the show the last few years and do not remember seeing a booth like that. But do know there is a guy out there that everyone raves about located in northern MN. Might have to search a little to find him.

    Are you talking about the guy in Ely (Red Rock) that does through the mail?

    Frank DeLuca is the guy who, as far as I’ve read is the only one, sharpens Nils blades.

    Sharpens and tests them on ice.

    He also only does Nils blades. You can check with him, but that’s what he told me a couple years ago.
