My dad is quite anxious for me to get his feeders out. I see some threat of freezing yet so I’m procrastinating. Curious how far north they are yet?

I usually put mine out along with the oriole feeders close to MN fishing opener/mother’s day weekend.

I’m up in Stearns cty mn. Middle of the state and there was some ice on the lakes yet 3 days ago.

I looked at the tracking map the other day and saw reports in mid-Iowa and the Milwaukee area. I put mine out yesterday but don’t expect them for a while.

I saw one yesterday, too! I had to look it up because I hadn’t seen one in ages.

I was doing some yard work yesterday and heard an Oriole sing but could not locate the sucker. I’ve seen a Wren on a couple occasions in the last week but the poor thing was chowing on suet. We see Orioles well before Hummers and I’ll be hanging a feeder now that I heard one. I’m not worried about freezing now. We’re out of hard freeze territory now.
