    I wish I could still go. My daughters 9 & 7 still have tags but they always have stuff going on. 9 year old Abby dont mind getting up early but dont think 4:45 am would interest her much.

    My son is still getting out. He will be out after school today. They have not been responding to calls so he is hunting travel routes.

    Had a free day Tuesday, spur of the moment trip to Nebraska, pun intended.

    4 hours down, 30 min of hunting around noon, back by dark. Almost bummed it went so fast. I was due for an easy hunt though, not always easy birds to kill. This one had more Eastern in him than we usually see.

    I was just thinking that too. Then I realized, that it’s season D. The one that coincides with fishing opener.

    Plus it’s gonna be 90+ degrees on Sunday too. Not what I would call enjoyable.
