Atteberry uses so many old slang baseball terms I sometimes have a hard time following him.
I said it last year, he never shuts up. He thinks he’s in a one man booth and the world is hanging on everything he says. It’s nonstop stories and anedotes. Just pause, let the other guy talk or let the action sink in a bit for the listener.

Crazy how the AL Central teams (minus the Sox) all have big winning streaks right now…. Twins not gaining ground, but had they not been on a 6 game winning streak, they’d likely be out of it….
Plenty of games with Tigers, Indians (Guardians), and Royals remaining. Have to be on their game then.

It was actually my first time going to Target Field. I’ve got over 100 Metrodome games back in my youth but hadn’t visited the new park yet. And with my boys/crew, it was a yearly deal that we’d take a day off and go, but hadn’t gotten it done yet. Well, I looked on Stub Hub on Tuesday and the tickets were $14 each. So, that made it easy.

i was channel surfing earlier and found the saints game…….they kept updating the twinkies score!!!! last i heard it was 5-5 top of the 9th.
not sure how the saints did as i went outside to do some things….but some of them names sounded familiar!!!!
Back to back sweeps! And a winning record. Crazy.
To keep things in perspective, they weren’t playing great teams so I wouldn’t get too excited. However pitching has been really good so who knows.
Everybody plays the same teams same number of times. Good teams, bad teams doesn’t really matter. It’s more of when you play them. Right now the pitching is keeping them in games against average or a bit above average teams. Maybe next round it’s the bats that carry the day? Doesn’t matter. They are healthy and finding a way to compete so lets enjoy the run they are on. It could all come crashing down in Baltimore…… or maybe not.
I caved. We took the day off and went to the game. My oldest son that works for me is starting a new career as a chef. So, we had to have a fun day. Sitting in row 2 in left field. Tickets were cheap and the weather is perfect.
Those left field bleachers are my favorite spot to sit. Cheap and right on the field with a great view. I’m boycotting target field though so it’s been awhile.
Those are a great spot, we used to have our partial season tix there in row 6. I think it was like $24/game and we got them for the first like 4-5 seasons at Target Field. Now I think I’ve attended 1 playoff game in like 4-5 seasons.
Good to hear they are doing better, and brightening Dutchy’s day!

Sweep the double header in Baltimore. 10 wins in a row. The bats picked up Woods Richardson who was bad today. Early start again tomorrow.
Still in 4th place in the Central. Need to stay in the W column against the Division.
