    How fitting.

It took a replay to get a foul called on LeBarn and get the dub.

So I freely admit I know nothing about basketball, but even I saw LeBron slap the wrist of Antman live when it happened and then everytime they replayed it on tv. So WHY did it take until the overhead freeze frame shot of it before ANY members of the TV Announcer crew to finally see it???

    Unreal!

Great win! The announcers are redonkulous. That last play was glaringly evident his wrist got hit and even the officiating crew knew it reviewing it. Then the announcers are like oh yeah, I guess he got his wrist. No duh! Luka and James could be so much fun to watch if they stopped the constant whimpering at the refs. Play ball and just stop. It’s all the time on every single play. The wolves didn’t even play a great game but kept at it. The minutes killed both Luka and James. They completely ran out of gas.

Wolves were lucky to get that foul call on the replay. That was a terrible last offensive set. I don’t know why they didn’t call a timeout to setup a play. Didn’t matter but it could’ve been bad.

I’ll give LeBron credit…he played some good defense down the stretch especially after how many minutes he played.

Bottom line is the Wolves are the better team with a deeper bench. Outside of OKC, the 2-8 teams in the west are all evenly matched. Any series is pretty much a toss up but I like our chances with Ant and the supporting cast.

No that’s how it works. I don’t think King James has even been whistled for a foul the entire series. It took until 3:09 of the 3rd quarter in game one before they called the first Laker foul. It’s preferential treatment by the league because they want Luka and LeBarn to make a deep run. Big market equals big money for the league.

Why do you even watch nba if you’re so convinced it’s rigged? How do you even enjoy it? Do you think only some parts are rigged? Are our wins legit? It’s only rigged when it goes against us? The nba couldn’t possibly see ANT as a rising star and a cash cow in his own right?

As expected we outlasted them in a dogfight. They play the same 5 guys the entire second half while we have a fresh Naz to torch em.

“Band wagon” Wolves fan (play-offs only) here. Luca is a flopper he must have soccer buddies back home. Naz turned hot at the right time … he could not buy a “3” in the first half. I enjoyed the run last year and even had to get another streaming service to get the West semi and final games. Hope they make another deep run.

Go Wolves. applause Twins take 3 straight and 5 of 6. cool Only let down this weekend regarding local pro sports was the Wild. cry

Not rigged. Preferential treatment for star players? Did you not notice how even those robot announcers refused to see the slap across the wrist by LeBarn? Wolves will still send the Fakers packing even with help from the refs!

Gobert needs to go…complete liability on offense and then gets T’d up to give the Lakers shots and a possession. Completely useless.

Where do you want him to go? 4 time DPOY is not useless roll

He will make an impact yet don’t worry. It’s a matchup issue vs. LA. He plays well off the screen game with Conley. Rudy is too big to keep up with all the wings and Conley is getting hunted on defense. Both are getting 20 minutes a game. Sounds like great coaching by Finchy to me?

He’s the only DPOY that’s a liability in the playoffs. You can’t have your third highest paid guy getting his minutes curtailed because of matchup issues.

There were also matchup issues last year against Dallas and Denver so his regular season accolades don’t matter. There are plenty of guys we could go get who can play both ends. Rudy isn’t the answer.

The wolves are much deeper that the lakers are. They can rotate in players and keep them fresh. LA relies on about 3 players to do the bulk of the scoring, and as someone mentioned, they played the same 5 players the entire second half. That isn’t sustainable from an endurance stand point.

That’s your casual opinion just like all the experts on record.

I agree he makes too much being so one dimensional but this team is deep enough to not have it be a factor. Next year may be a different story but we good now. I have watched every game the last 3 years so I see the impact he brings. He has terrible hands and needs to catch it high and stop dropping the ball to his waist where defenders are slapping it any chance they get. He is getting frustrated because of it but I believe in Big Ru and so do his teammates.

Fun fact LA just set a record by playing the same 5 for the entire second half. You could see the legs were gone on Luka. Fakers have no bench like we all knew, well all that weren’t listening to all the experts anyway rotflol

Man it’s fun watching these pups mature before my eyes! Keep doubting them……PLEASE

I was listening to the first half in the garage on Sirius XM, the Lakers broadcast. Don’t know who the play-by-play announcer was but the analyst was Mychal Thompson. They were pretty hard on the Lakers even when they were leading. One of the commercials was for Cadillac of Beverly Hills.

I listened to Alan Horton and Jim Peterson call the game on the radio. They immediately said LeBron slapped ANT’s wrist and was fouled. Not sure why the tv guys waited so long either.

I’d have rather listened to a radio and should have vs The Lakers Lovers on tv. I don’t mind a female commentator on some sports, but that lady is not it! Sure, they’d mention a great play by the Wolves, but just constantly petting Leflop and Luka.

For the casual fans, Wolves have the greatest play by play and it’s not even remotely close!

Grady and Jim Pete are 1A & 1B and to not be able to hear them call the game is a disservice. ABC and ESPN crews are an embarrassment to the league but it’s OK. They get paid to talk up the Big market teams, nothing new. It will be awesome to hear Grady call a game in the future tho….can’t wait!

Do you think LB and Luka watch film of their soccer like performances and are not totally embarrassed?

Actually, I thought they were talking up the wolves a fair amount yesterday and it surprised me.

I agree CM. But be careful questioning the bona fides of our resident wolves superfan. jester

I watch nba all year and not just the wolves. We are not being treated unusually in this series by the media or the refs. If you think the league and media aren’t drooling over ANT, I dunno what to tell you. We were being extremely physical with LeBron all game, many of those foul calls were legit and yes, he’s gonna get the borderline calls too. They got it right when it mattered most.

I find it ironic that the people most bothered by the constant on-court whining run to the keyboard to… whine. Everybody in the league whines for calls. KAT and ANT were ridiculous with this last year. I can’t stand it but don’t understand this loser mindset where you’re looking for a scapegoat even while up 3-1 in a series. Sack up fellas.

I dont watch much NBA other than the wolves and when I watch them its usually our broadcast which I really like. I have taken in the occasional national broadcast during the season and it really was quite nauseating to listen to with the talk of whoever their opponent was, but I didnt get that vibe last night at all.

Ugh, didn’t want to chime in on this topic. But I’ve watched a lot of Wolves ever since we drafted Ant. While I don’t like the complaining, that is a different topic.

I thought the refs have been refreshingly neutral in this series. Can’t complain about the calls at all.

Agreed. There have been some missed calls, but I think its been equal both ways. I dont much know what the heck a foul is in today’s NBA however.

That was a great game from a team with no quit, however, I see this thing dragging out at least two more games. No way they won’t let LA win the next game just to keep the heat off of uncle Shannon for a few more days.

I think they give LA the knockout punch in game 5. But I’m also OK if it goes game 6 back to MN because I have tickets!! grin

Luka is by far the worst. He threw his hands up and yelled to the ref on a shot he made with no defender within 2 feet of him. Yesterdays announcers did suck. I dont mind the TNT games when its Kevin Harlan.

Kevin Harlan is the best and I miss when he was the T Wolves play by play. Richard Jefferson use to play with Lebron so its not shocking all the love he gives the Lakers and Doris Burke just sucks.

Thats why one right call at the end of a game that goes against them and their panties get all up in a bunch. Imagine what Ants numbers would look like if got to shoot 15 free throws a game.

Yep, I just want a level playing field. That elbow LeBarn got in the back of the head was retaliation for the forearm he landed on JR in game 3. Shocking but no call on that and nobody talks about that but they were all appalled when Rudy did it to the king. It’s ok for him to get physical but when Ant bodied him, then he has a problem.

Rudy is easy to rip on but nobody will say he did not stick up for his guys. It has happened multiple times this year. It wouldn’t surprise me if some kind of altercation breaks out in game 5 but I hope cooler heads prevail? Wolves used to be the dumbest team in the league but getting rid of Towns should help the BBIQ and not have anything dumb happen?
