What an effort! Even though they didn’t win, that was one he’ll of a 3rd period and series!

Great series… unfortunately its always gonna be about “what if” Nyquist stayed on sides in Game 5…

Lots of young blood joining the team next year and we’ll finally be close to a level playing field cap wise…

Should be an interesting summer that’s for sure… major decision needed from Kaprizov, then GMBG has big decisions on what to do with GusBus and Rossi extensions/trade and how does he shape the roster to succeed in the playoffs…

Can’t wait until the first reporter or journalist asks BG why he can’t get out of the first round again. He’s gonna blow a fuse lol

Man they took a long time to get some shots in on goal with the extra man. I’m no hockey expert but I think you need to shoot to score.

I agree, pretty good series. After the Wild went up in the series 2 games to 1 it went Vegas in OT, Vegas in OT, then Vegas by 1. Pretty tightly contested.

Fun game 6 to watch, seemed like the Wild had quite a few more scoring chances than Vegas, especially late. They whiffed on a few, just not our night I guess.

Spurgeon never gets a shot off. He doesn’t have a shot anyone respects. He hesitates and never takes it. It’s why I HATE him on the PP.
If Vegas had gus in net this series would’ve been over in 4. Vegas is going nowhere with Hill in net. It would be awesome if Edmonton wins their series. The 2 worst goalies head to head. Each game would be double digits in goals.

If only there were some fans at the X yelling shooooooot jester

Shitty outcome but that’s the best playoff series they’ve played in a long time. Team showed so much more maturity and composure than in the past. Tip your cap to Vegas, they’re a good team built for that kind of hockey

Did you see all of the bodies in front of the net? Impossible to get shots through to the net from the point when you don’t onetime it, our current players dont like to take those…

I’m not sure what I’ll miss more, watching the Wild or reading the hot takes from the IDO brain trust. Can’t wait for Joe to start the 25-26 season discussion some time in July.

Little man took this loss hard. Tears started to stream on the third goal. Said he wanted to stay to see Flower leave the ice. I have been a sports MN fan my whole life tears are dry for me but dang little man had me choked up a bit.
I think his losing streak this year and being tired caught up with him. Birthday is Saturday so I’m sure he will bounce back.

I know they have 2 cups to fall back on but how would you like to be a Kings fan and lose 4 playoff series IN A ROW to the Oilers!

I remember being like your kid when I was little. My kids also get the same way. It’s hardening him for lifetime of MN defeat. But someday it will happen with one of these teams and it’s going to be the best!

Yeah he had terrible luck this year only saw a win in Denver. I think he felt partially to blame.
I felt like it was Groundhog Day unfortunately as I have seen this time and time again with this team. Get teased with a road win to get people excited.

Fun series to watch, but some devastating losses while getting closed out. Saw a stat the Wild have lost 42 straight playoff games when losing after 2 periods. Future is bright, but they have some serious work to do on 2/3 lines and one set of D men.

To me this is the exact sentiment that never gets them out of the first round.
Oh good job they tried hard.
If you look at the series it was similar issues to every series.
Terrible special teams and no clutch scoring. Giving up goals early and chasing. Not winning on home ice.
I know I know they played with a billion dollars less than Vegas.
To me it seemed eerily similar to every first round loss.
I am excited for the buyouts to be off the books as much as anyone, however this organization needs to have a deep look. Felt different for some I guess but it was the exact same scenario as every other year.
And Iowa is also a complete dumpster fire.

That’s it moving on to next year.
