you called that one!
If i see Brazeau out there i’m shutting my tv off!
I’d love to see Brazeau out now… best guy i can think of to block a bunch of shots on the 4v3. Please no Faber or Brodin or Spurgeon or Ek
Would be funny if the Wild game goes to OT and they start Merrill, Trenin, and Brazeau. Pop Flower in net for a 5 minute finale and shootout, if he wants it. Realistically should do that if the game makes it there.
If the Blues don’t beat a hot Utah team in Regulation, Calgary could win out and bump them. Vegas is resting pretty much everyone tonight in Calgary, and LA probably does the same on Thursday.
Do you have any stock tips for me? Incredible call.
I absolutely hate that they’re playing the big dogs in this OT
bah, get Flower the W
Such a crazy ending! That’s how you generate some freaking juice for the playoffs!
OK fine now that it’s over I can admit the 5 minutes of OT was 10x more fun to watch than the 60 minutes of regulation.
Very cool story book ending for Le Fleur. Awesome that he wanted the OT, and then put on a show to boot!
Can you imagine if Ek’s rebound gets swatted out of the crease at the end of the 3rd instead of him tapping it in again?!?
Seriously, the Wild would be dumb not to swap Buium for Merrill in the playoffs…. He can get the PP strategy down in a couple of practices and protect his 5-5 minutes if needed… the 5 forwards desperation strategy isn’t working at all… we need PP goals to have any success in the playoffs
I was thinking they should get Buium in somehow too. This team needs a little boost to have much of a chance.

Or we just decline power plays… kidding (kind of)
Calgary ties it 3 to 3. This season may have literally come down to 20 seconds and 1 goal.
Throw Buium in Midstrom’s spot right now. Both goals tonight directly caused by him getting caught in awkward spots and not executing. He’s been low-key brutal for a couple months now. Faber has come back to life since getting separated from him.
Kirill and Boldy had absolutely no chemistry or flow. Couldn’t complete simple passes to each other all night.
Where’s Mojo been hiding this stuff all year?! Incredible game from him start to finish.

Calgary wins it in a shootout…
DO YOU FEEL THAT WILD FANS?!?
5 years of major buyout pain is now OVER! We survived it! We’re now swimming in capspace!
Wait…what? Kirill and Rossi extensions will cost how much?
Cardiac kids. It is never easy with these guys, but they found a way to tie it up at the end and then seal it in OT. JOJO has some MOJO right now. Ek is just a beast out there. Kirill needs Zuccy.
As fun as that was, it’s the ducks.
Exactly – A fun game indeed, a fitting tribute for flower, but I think that was your finale, right there. Optimistic for the future now that we’re out from under the Sutter/Parise mess and we have some key leaders to build around. But sadly, we’re looking at another 1 & done-er.
I hope I’m wrong, at least we’re healthy at the right time.
I’m glad others have mentioned about JoJo recent play because I was scared to say he has looked lately. Last night he looked like he had an extra gear and was out skating a lot of guys.
I’ll admit I had some terrible thoughts going through my head in the last 2 minutes of the game. Don’t even want to think about it haha and now onto Vegas. Really wish this Sunday wasnt Easter to try and see if I could get tickets for down there.

With the events going on in Vegas in the near future….if money, a job, and a kid in school weren’t factors, I would fly into Vegas Friday, attend Wrestlemania Saturday and Sunday, attend the Wild playoff games, and then attend the ACDC show next Saturday in Vegas. That would literally be the apex of all my fandom in one city in a short stretch of time.
I’ll play the homer card and say the Wild shock the world and beat Vegas in 6…I think they steal one of the Vegas home games and for the first time in ages win both home games to go up 3-1, lose game 5 in Vegas and then wrap the series up in St Paul…
I think a new look PP with Buium at QB will catch fire and I think Boldy will finally crawl out of his playoffs shell and score some big goals, but ultimately a big part of the Wild’s possible success will fall on Rossi producing and not being a passenger like he has been the past 10 games or so… I think Vegas is vulnerable at goalie, you just gotta get through their awesome team defense first (not easy)
I hope they roll with this lineup:
Kaprizov – Rossi – Zuccy
Boldy – Ek – Foligno
Jojo – Freddy – Nyquist
Trenin – Hartman – Hinostroza
* I could see Liam Ohgren swapping in for either Nyquist or Hinostroza if they are totally ineffective the first couple of games…Ohgren has been playing really well (scoring) in Iowa since he was sent down, he’d at least give you energy and the possibility of scoring…
Faber – Brodin
Spurgeon – Middleton
Buium – Bogo

Now that would be a hell of a trip! If I didnt have family coming over for Easter I’d be looking at flights right now rather than typing this haha!
