    This should make the deer hunters and ice nuts happy. Those of us still messing around in boats have mixed feelings about the whole deal.

    This is my favorite time of year. I don’t stop taking out the boat until the lakes are frozen over. Fished on Rainy in the snow on 10/3. Of course once the lakes are frozen, I’m pushing someone out in front of me to see if its safe enough to fish )

    Looks kinda pretty! Fa la la la! I like winter/Christmas, but seriously, what happened to Fall?? Seems like we just bounce from one end of the thermometer to the other. I wish it could stay 60-65 degrees for a longer time.

    No mixed feelings here. If it snowed on Dec 23rd and melted on the 26th it would be fine with me. Ice was meant for cocktails, not to walk on.

    no way……ice was definitely made to walk on and when done cutting the hole put the ice in the drink!!!!!!!
