rear deck electronics

    I am adding a Lowrance HDS 10 to the back deck of my MX1825. Plan to mount it on the port side in front of the kicker motor. Question is, should I mount in of the Berts track, a Scotty adapter in the track, on the deck itself?
    What have you done?

    Track works very well if it comes all the way back far enough!!
