Sorry to put up 2 new reports in a matter of a few days but here it is.I don’t know how many reports I’ll get to this summer,so some weeks you guys might get overran with IGL’s fishing.Can you deal with that? Cade and Cole were back home so it was Austins “turn” to fish with Dad.We started with pulling cranks on East and had good action.They key was to be in the weeds to get the fish to bite.We also caught a bunch of small white bass.Here is Austin with a legal eye off of East.
Early this morning we were on West fishing the rocks and had good action.We both casted cranks and plastics while we had a leeches just above the rocks hoping to catch some eyes that were roaming for a early morning snack.Here’s the ole’ man with a nice healthy eye.We caught a few legal eyes but they were let go to fight another day.
The smallies are starting to get active on West and Spirit.Austin connected with a few this morning.Here is a nice smallie that put on a good show for us.It never gets old when you can catch fish like this.
Time for a tribute fish.With hopes of all my good Iowa fishing buddies seeing this.See note.
