I was trying to make that point Matt.
I have probably done 250-300 trailer bearing jobs not counting my own.I think and i’m on the light side but the boat trailers with 5 plus years between bearing jobs had bad bearings 50% of the time.
I agree with fins bearing buddies are not a cure all for regular maintenance.
I will say when you have to cut the races off the spindle the price of a bearing job goes up dramatically.

What if the bearing race or races are welded to the spindle from over heating?How do you just put the hub on?

I know i may get crucified on here because it’s not everybodies favorite place to shop but here goes.I just bought a BP microlite for panfishing.I have not used it yet but seems like a nice rod.It is a 7’ML,the actions on these seem a little lite so i moved up from a light action.
I also have some of the TS tourney specials that are a good bang for the buck.I think in that model you could go with the UL they seem to run a little stiffer than some rods.
I know they are ONLY 50-70 bucks so they must be junk but they are not.

We got the Ego last summer and it seems to be a good unit. I got the bigger battery but would’nt need it.It takes 45 min to mow and still have 2 bars left.
