Rude awakening

    I fished the back waters below the Lynxville dam yesterday for 6 hours trying every place I thought would hold a bass. l to 5 fow. I used my go to spinner. Not one hit. Did manage a small walleye though. Water temps 44 to 49 Any suggestions? Next time out will be trying either farther down river or ? thanks for the input.

    Drew, I managed to find quite a few fish by concentrating on creek inlets this weekend. I started fishing the backends of shallow backwaters with very little success early. I did pick a couple of fish on the deeper flats coming out of the backwater.

    When I started fishing the creek inlets later in the day I found the fish pretty much stacked, both LM and SM. Caught most on tubes although my son managed to catch a few on spinnerbaits and swim jigs.
