I recently posted about interest in center console’s in the Midwest. I ended up buying the boat in Arkansas and drove it home. I was looking forward to turning it into a one-of-a-kind walleye boat. Until a used Warrior 1890 came into view at an unbeatable price.

Now my loss is potentially someones gain.

A well-maintained 2001 Scout Sportfish 162, a testament to Scout’s commitment to quality and performance. Designed for anglers who demand durability, reliability, and style, this boat offers superior craftsmanship with a long-lasting hull built to withstand the rigors of MN chop. This is a 100% composite build, with nothing to rot.

    Comes with:
    Garmin 93SV Plus
    Terrova 55lb thrust
    NOCO 3 bank charger
    Battery Selector Switch
    DevFishing Trolling trees
    In-hull rod holders
    2 large livewells
2000 Yamaha 50hp 4-stroke. Great shape, runs 10/10, recent paperwork showing almost $1500 in servicing.

I drove the trailer from AR to MN no problems. The carpet on the bunks is worn. Previous owner drilled a few holes through the gunnel, completely cosmetic, and an easy patch job.

The price is to move as I need space, and cheaper here than on Marketplace.

    $9750 OBO

What’s the max hp on that model? Do you know the overall width?

CG sticker says “50-70HP recommended”. Scout has a FB group and there are guys running 90hp 2-strokes on them. This one cruises at 24-26mph and WOT is 30 solo.

    Beam width 82”

This is a great little boat. Not sure why we don’t see more like it around here. There are a couple running around on pool 2.

If this had a jack plate and 80# terrova it would pique my interest.

X2 I almost bought one 3-4 years ago but the seller was being a flake. This boat looks really clean and should make someone really happy.

Thanks all. Drummed up a bit of interest on Marketplace, got a couple guys who will see it next week.

With a draft of 8″, a jackplate may not be necessary, but you do see the inshore Gulf guys rocking them.

Would be a perfect rig for a river smallie fisherman.
