Planning for bass….

I pretty much have been a soft plastic swim bait or frog when fishing largemouths but this year I’m getting some medium diver crank baits put together to try and convince said largemouths that these cranks are food. Got these so far….

I think it would be cool to see what you can do as far as painting up some baby bass pattern cranks sometime!

Find some weed lines/beds that are deep enough to run those cranks through the tops of the weeds and you will get bit for sure.

Those look really great. My son uses a bluegill colored Rapala and both the bass and northerns really hit it hard over the tops of emerging weed beds. Works well in the fall over the tops of weed beds and even through them as they die back too.

It’s on the to do list. I need to track down some stencils for that one.
