Is the new boat ramp under the 36 bridge up and running?

Looked like it’s all good to go, drove by to check it out a couple weeks ago. Haven’t launched from it yet, but I’ve heard you want to be careful with the shallow depth and rocks around the ramp. We’ll see if they clear it out more like Hudson.

It is up and going, I also drove through it a couple weeks ago. I cannot believe how tight they made the turn arounds. I am not sure i can make it in there with my 19 foot boat, we will see.

Is this a free ramp or is there a launch fee?

I believe it is a free public launch. So expect it to be busy come summer, unless the depth of the launch keeps people away.

There was no dock yet but I believe one or two will be installed later. If you you are fishing alone I recommend launching at another launch because the edges of the ramp do have rock and the water is up a little making it tough to pull up without scrapping the bottom of the boat or knocking a transducer off. During the week early you will have that ramp to your self till about 7 am. Weekends another story.
