Has the plug finally (& mercifully) been pulled on that web site? I haven’t been able to access it lately which isn’t anything new but this time seems longer than the past ones. Nice guys over there and I never like to see a site fail but the owner just absolutely ignored the place. Even Kirk seemed to have bailed.

Anybody have any inside info? Just wondering if I should dump it from my favorites list.

Yeah, they’ve been dropping over the years. HSO went dead real quick when the site split. As with lake state, I’ve never seen such s slow death. IT JUST WONT DIE.

I go to LSF for info on one specific small lake. Just so happens there’s a guy who is active there and is an expert on that lake and willing to share. I must’ve tried to register half a dozen times over the last 4 years and it never worked, they wouldn’t send the confirmation emails out. I’ll be bummed if it’s gone forever because there’s good info archived.

It’s never been a surprise to me when I can’t access that site. I’ve been wondering if it has has finally gone dark also.

As much as I like this site, I miss the heyday of HSO and Lake State a lot. This was back before people were spread out across all of the FB groups. Back then, you felt like every fisherman in MN was on HSO or Lake State and there was so much activity every day. The opener thread would be pages long with people talking about their plans. It was like the pulse of MN fishing. Today, there is no one place like that.

meh. Lake state was medicore at best. HSO, I had to figure out how not to get put in time out or banned. crazy it is how I found IDO. I partake in other sites beside here.

I prefer LSF. Unfortunately the site has died. It seemed like there were more reports in their and quality members. Still check it though.

Seems they are down again today. How can a site that only has 3-4 posts a day have so many problems? Well, maybe thats the problem, only 3-4 posts a day. It takes a few days before anybody misses them. jester

Been down for 3 days now. That site is long dead. Was a long time member back when fellegy was fighting the netting, became heavily involved myself. went to the round table meeting & court hearing with Steve. Was even threatened by a certain political figure when I called him out on his BS. LSF was a good platform back then, tis history now.
