Dogs and ice fishing

    Hey Guys,
    I have a clam fishtrap and want to bring my dog with next year ice fishing. I was wondering where you put your dogs and what on when you fish your portables.

    I see alot of dogs on the ice.One thing to make sure is that they listen and do not bother other anglers.We used to take our old cocker spaniel all the time.We tossed a old blanket in the shack and he would lay down on it.Clear ice can be hard on a dogs joints so be carefull when walking to and from your spots.

    I say but them on the grill with some nice warm buns alittle ketchup & mustard there is nothing better then dogs on the ice.
