She’s my hero. Apparently some boats were coming by really fast and she was worried that big waves might cause me to loose the fish. She was yelling at them to slow down. Here’s hers. This is a double that we got the day before. Of course hers is the bigger one. 30″. Caught on a spinner bait. She’s pretty proud of herself.
Wife says it was about 20 minutes. But I had so much consintration that it seemed like 5 minutes. She wanted to get back in the lillies real bad. So running the trolling motor and fighting the fish was a handful…in fact I didn’t even know other boats were around. Took about 20 minutes to revive her.
Note the dog…..She was slimmed before and she really was not happy about that fish being in the boat.
I thank you for sharing the pic, The Muski thanks you for the C&R….and… The next person that catches that hog (hopefully with the family along) would be greatfull to you too…had they known it was you that allowed them the memories!
Make sure you send it to Paul, And let him know that you now hold the record for bigest muskie in the family! Rub it in real good too!!!!!Of course I still hold the record for biggest Walleye!!!!
NICE! Look at the head on that thing! It must be turnin’ on the feedbag before the winter sets in. That girl is capable of a lot more “swelling”! How’d you like to catch her again in Oct./Nov.?
