I have 2 hmg rods both probably 10 years old and both had the grip split where I tighten them down on my casting reel. I emailed them and asked if they had a good fix for these being I’m so far away from when I bought them, I never registered them and they have been fished and abused for years.
I emailed them last night. I got a response at 815 this morning with 2 codes saying I can choose 2 new rods and send them 50 bucks and they will be here next week. Wow I wish st croix operated that way. It’s the only 2 fenwicks I have but I will be buying more in the future. Pretty easy and nice customer support.

they have a “limited lifetime” warranty whatever that is? i broke the tip off one of my HMG’s 8 or so years ago and emailed them some pictures. they told me to send the rod in and they will inspect to see if it will comply with their warranty policies. 2 days later there was a new rod at my door.

I have warrantied 2 Fenwich rods. They have always required me to send pictures of the damage, and the serial/model number. Free replacement and i was able to keep the “broken” rods. which 1 just needed an eye at the tip. Still a very functional rod. By far the best warranty service for rods in the business.

I have several – none of the HMG’s but the HMX’s ( the cheaper ones) and I really like them.
Never had to use their customer service yet but that is truly good to know.
Son bought a Trika two years ago. We broke the tip down on Lake of the Ozarks at the Big Bash Bash. Sent em pics and received several texts and emails back. Very personable and a new rod came within the week and the old one was still useable ( only about 1.5′ broke off – told us what to buy to put on it so we could still use it). Sent several pictures of the rod and fish we caught with it and they responded back w thanks. THey are expensive but would not hesitate to buy another.

Did you have to send any pictures or proof of ownership?
$50 for 2 new rods is a good deal
