yep about 4 miles north of the north end. Rising eagle resort is on the north west side.

I’m on the board of directors for the Jessie lake watershed assoc.

We are on a smaller lake not far from spring lake store. Peterson lake.

Finny…. the ice here is good. Still at 23 inches on thr lake I’m fishing. The shoreline for now haven’t been damaged whatsoever at this point.

I have to say I’m impressed at the lack of trash out on Bowstring. I literally stopped to pick up one thing all weekend that looked like it fell off a piece of equipment unknowingly. Thanks to people fishing up here and probably some locals who pick up trash whenever out. Hope others are seeing the same elsewhere.

Jessie lake was still iced over but the shoreline looked bad at the access. Cabin lake… north and south bays are open and main lake has ice, but I don’t expect it for much longer. It really opened up yesterday. Didn’t take long for the loons and mallards to find the open water. Was sweet to hear the loons calling

Thanks for the reports Glenn! Haven’t been up much lately, but will be the next two weekends. Holler if you’re still around.

looks like Bowstring is pretty much open by Geigers webcam. hard to see through the rain drops on the camera but may be a bit of ice out farther……but there’s whitecaps rolling into Geigers!!! jester
