Just go up 35. Anytime. I travel it everyday and it’s not bad

Google maps. There are accidents once in awhile, and slow downs on both, worth a google to show fastest route. Technology can do better than human opinions. Just make sure it’s not on that eco mode.

35w can really back up in Mpls at the 94 junction, and 35e is slow thru st.paul in general.

Thanks. Given the time I usually loop big cities. Living in a town with 1,800 people and no stoplights, where the argument at a stop sign is. No, you go first. Use to enjoy competitive driving when I was younger, now not so much.

Google maps are your friend. And it depends on where you are coming from, we often take the backroads out of the SW metro to avoid 94 as much as possible, but still hit some traffic at times on 10 on cabin weekends.

    Best route? South through Iowa.

    X2 on what BC said.
Then 94 to Clearwater is what I would do.

Went up 35w. Only problem was south before the bridge. 3 state police cars had a Tahoe with gangster tinted windows, pulling a small cargo trailer pulled over. Both lanes to a crawl for a few miles.
Probably to let him know he’d won a free car wash. But I believe BK may be right. Drove thru some nasty weather. But think we just missed worse a couple times.
